# K2 Foundation

> The K2 Foundation is the charitable foundation of K2 Group, established in 2023 to create brighter futures for children and young people in the communities where K2 operates worldwide. It champions access to wellbeing support, healthcare, education, sport, and personal development, and operates as a Micro-Trust of GivingWorks (Charity Number 1078770).

The Foundation is driven by K2 Group's senior management: overseen by Founder & CEO Nick Plummer and chaired by Global Head of Compliance and ESG Linda Rafferty, with all payments approved by the K2 Foundation Committee. Local charity partnerships and volunteering are managed regionally by a global team of Charity Champions. Its flagship project is a school built with Associação Semeando Amor com a Tia Mônica in Parelheiros, São Paulo, whose operational costs the Foundation supports long-term.
