We joined the Nepal Team and heard how our trekkers are feeling on the eve of their Everest Base Camp adventure and how our volunteers are getting on in Fumrekhu.
The how, why & where
24 K2 employees from across the globe have flown out to Nepal to take part in an expedition and volunteering programme, our main charitable initiative for 2023. Upon landing in Nepal, the K2 team split into two groups. The first group embarks on the Everest Base Camp Trek, whilst the second group heads into a number of remote villages surrounding Pokhara, a city in central Nepal, to help refurbish local schools.
