K2 co-owners, CEO Nick Plummer, and Executive Business Director Richard Rutledge, have a strong belief that each and every business has a responsibility to give back to, protect and enrich its local communities. This belief is at the heart of K2’s ESG strategy and is firmly embedded into both its business operations and its company culture.
Since K2 Group was founded in 2002, Nick and Richard have been actioning innovative initiatives which have a long-lasting, positive impact in the communities within which K2 operates.
At the start of 2023, the K2 Foundation was set up to enable K2 to more easily support a broad range of charitable causes around the globe. As well as providing an independent fundraising facility, the K2 Foundation acts as an umbrella for all of K2’s global charitable activities.
The K2 Foundation is underpinned by three key principles:

To create brighter futures for children and young people within the communities touched by K2 Group’s global presence
To create opportunities for all K2 people, partners and stakeholders to make a positive difference in society
